While most 14-year-olds are busy playing team sports, Mike Driver was already busy learning how to manage a team of his own. Through high school and college, Mike managed maintenance crews for eight apartment complexes in his family’s property management company. This experience taught him how good communication and clear expectations play a critical role in building a successful team.

As a W&O project manager, Mike understands the importance of creating a productive team environment at the beginning of each project. He encourages project engineers, architects, superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to remember that every individual must set aside personal aspirations for the sake of achieving one common goal: “exceed the expectations of our clients.”

Mike has eight years of experience with W&O as a commercial scheduler, estimator and project manager. He earned his Civil Engineering degree from Tennessee Technological University. Many clients regard Mike as an excellent communicator and value his drive to take a personal ownership position with each of his projects.

Mike’s number one team is his family: his wife, Kim; daughter, Kyndal (9) and son, Eli (5).
