Greg Shirley - Waste Water Project Manager
Spring 2010
Team Profiles
Water has a unique ability to adapt to its surroundings…to find a way around obstacles…to keep moving down the path of least resistance. Perhaps it should come as little surprise that Greg Shirley has allowed these characteristics to soak into his approach to waste water project management.
With over 14 years of experience as a W&O waste water treatment facility project manager, Greg has learned to ‘go with the flow.’ While he seems to thrive on the steady current of challenges, deadlines and pressures present in every waste water project, his secret to success is an ability to focus his energy on insightful planning and detailed preparation.
Greg is a talented scheduler, estimator and project manager. He earned his Masters of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
Passionate about his work, Greg tends to take his love of water home. He enjoys spending summer weekends at the lake with his family. He is even drawn to water when playing golf with friends or clients at the local course.
Greg’s top priority is his family: wife, Mary Beth; and sons: Trent (13), Grant (7) and Stewart (3).
