Walnut Commons: Not Your Common Medical Park
Spring 2010
Project Highlights
A boring square box, a labyrinth of overwhelming hallways, depressing wall colors and an overall uninviting, uninspired environment – the typical medical park is not the kind of place you want to visit when you don’t feel well.
When Dr. Stephen Chapman and Dr. Carolyn Ross decided to build a medical park for their health care practices, they wanted something different, something special – a place you want to visit.
The resulting 13,000 square foot design is anything but your common medical park. Beautiful stacked stone abutments supporting custom timber framing and rustic ironwork accents create the feel of a luxury alpine resort.
Efficiency is a common theme in this modern medical park. The building makes extensive use of natural and efficiency lighting. State-of-the-art hot water and HVAC systems help control energy expenses. Low maintenance materials used inside and outside save money on future repairs. The common entry atrium features a decorative water garden and wide overhangs to control solar heat gain.
2,800 square feet of unfinished shell space are available for build-to-suit leasing. If you are interested in growing your business in this amazing modern office space, contact Frank Ross, Walnut Commons Property Manager: 931-267-7811.
