La Gardena - A New Landmark for Dale Hollow Lake

Project Highlights

For years Dale Hollow Lake has been known to locals as a place of inspiring beauty – famous for its clean waters, lushly forested hillsides and majestic wildlife. Soon, this natural treasure will be known to vacationers and outdoor enthusiasts across the region for a new attraction: La Gardena.

Built on a 1,200 acre complex, La Gardena will be a big boost to the local economy. Bolstered by government funds for economic growth, La Gardena will provide jobs for Upper Cumberland residents as well as tax revenue.

La Gardena’s developers could have chosen any builder in the southeast to oversee this landmark project. They choose W&O, trusting in our commercial experience and our ability to bring extensive water/sewer expertise to this vast water-bound property.

Everyone involved is proud of the project’s focus on green building and sustainability. With environmental engineering that is sensitive to erosion and rustic Tuscan architecture using green building materials that blend into the landscape while conserving resources, La Gardena will reduce impact on the area’s natural beauty throughout the construction process and far into the future.

La Gardena is designed to offer something for all visitors. Outdoor sportsmen may enjoy convenient access to boating and fishing, luxury swimming pools, tennis courts, horseback riding, biking and hiking trails…and, of course, Cumberland National – a John Daly signature golf course featuring 18 of the country’s most unique and challenging holes. Those seeking a little more relaxation may enjoy the winery, boutique shopping and gourmet restaurants.
