A Light in the Dark: Heart of the Cumberland
Spring 2011
Community
Grief is a natural reaction to death or the loss of a loved one. The expression, duration and intensity of dealing with these matters are unique for each person. Heart of the Cumberland provides free nondenominational, Christ-centered peer support for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one due to death, divorce or other family circumstances. Children, teens and adults can share their experiences and emotions with their peers and with adults trained to help them deal with their grief. W&O believes those who are crushed by the weight of loss deserve the opportunity to heal and make the most of the life before them.
